Well, originally, it was real estate. He invested wisely or was very lucky at first. Nowadays, he probably has income from books, clothing lines, reality shows, and other side businesses. Brand whoring probably takes some skill. I wouldn’t mind whoring out my name for hundreds of millions of dollars.

Privately I’ll admit I bought a D Trump Button Up shirt one time. The thing was crap, took forever to iron, wrinkled easily, and attracted a ton of lint.
For someone who cares so much about brand, his shirt held up worse than those I bought at TJ Maxx during college.

I feel Kim and Don have so much in common when it comes to the limelight and fake baking. From Don’s reality TV hustlin to a fake presidential campaign, him and Kim are not all that different.
Yeah, he’s got a big arrogant attitude (Trump does), but he has admittedly accomplished something other than being pretty and related to someone famous. How much is luck vs. skill is hard to separate out, though.
What’s annoying is how he figures success in one field entitles him to be arrogant about his abilities in another field. I gues CFAvsMBA’s point about that kind of similarity between the two is true.
