“Mitt Romney Struggles To Identify A Doughnut”
I think Huffington Post is overreacting a bit:
“A tip of the hat to Buzzfeed for alerting us all to the video above, and thus the possible dangers of Mitt Romney becoming President of the United States.
Yes, if you thought it was worrying when Sarah Palin’s claim to foreign policy expertise was the fact that she could see Russia from her house, then we suggest you worry even more at the notion that the potentially most powerful man on Earth is unable to identify a chocolate doughnut.”
The President does not live in the same world as normal people. His/her decisions are made on a national or global scale. Being able to “relate to the average American” has little to do with Presidential level decisions relating to economic or foreign relations policy.
However, for some reason, US voters give a high weight to the candidate that they would “like to have a beer with”. So, yeah… it’s not so great for Romney if he keeps doing stuff like this…
