I don t understand why the CTA is needed. If i understand well, the CTA send information to the large public about quotation…that u see on internet or tv. But why the different matket place don t do this themselves? For exemple instead of NYSE send this information to CTA that give it back to the public, NYSE dont send them dirrectly to the public or let the different information provider connect themselves dirrectly to their database so they don t even have to send them?
