Chicago Position Available: Financial Analyst 0-2 years exp

AF members, I posted a “heads up” for this position a little bit ago but it just became official with our HR. I’m looking for a 0-2 year Financial Analyst with a background in Finance, Accounting, or Engineering. CFA candidates preferred, not a must. Need to live in Chicago. You’d report to me (28 year old newly minted Charterholder). Thank you to the 5 who have already submitted their resumes - I’m just looking for a few more so we can have a nice pool to choose from.

Email me your resume at tclark@upbnk.com

Urban Parternship Bank is a $1b bank and you’d work in my Corp Treasury group although we do everything from ALM, Investment Portfolio Management, Financial Modeling and Budgeting.

The Career section of AF needs more OP posts like this!

Thanks Geo and Jack. AF members need to look out for each other…

I applaud you doing this Clark. I’ll tap some of my pals around Chicago and see if they are interested.

Thank you for posting it Clark. This is a respectable position for someone starting out. We aren’t all born in the GS elevator (the guy claiming hacksaw probably wasn’t either). This would be a good first step for someone looking to get their feet wet. Best of luck in your recruitment.

Clarkthe4, can I get more information about the actual bank? Multple people doing this for a $1 billion dollar bank seems a lot (a treasury group), especially given the earnings/financial condition. I have a lot of experience in this area, but the bank is trending opposite of what I would’ve expected (just based off of my SNL analysis)

Just a quick update - I ended up hiring a CFA candidate through this posting. Thank you to those who applied.
