For those of us who have a problem, partially induced by the stress of studying for these exams.

drunk cause I’m behind on studying, behind on studying cause I’m drunk, the cycle continues

At least you are attractive and can get the waitresses

True. You should come to my local bar in NYC and study with me. I’ll pay for the flight

How come you never offered that to me? Thought I was your favorite :frowning:

Offers on the table for you too! Canada not so far as Australia. I’ll buy you a Bus Ticket. 8)

Still feeling FUBAR. Last week of August and the DJIA is going to break down hard.

“You’re new here, the happy hour game is pull all three tabs, and if you get 11 or under, the drink is on us”

“Get the F—ck out of town!” said the lawyer with overzealousness. It was a classic.

Cool story

True story also. happened last night. Something was ‘amiss’ with this man. He won the pull tab. Then came a lady next to him, a stranger, and she is handed the pull tab game. When the guy sees the pull tab handed to the lady, he addresses her loudly with, “Motherf----cker! I just won that game”. The bartender says to the man: “Please don’t call her Mother f…ker.”

OP is wicked cool. Spamming the CFA forum on how much he drinks and just talking big sh it in general. Study and drink and talk about the dow. Modern day Bud Fox here.

People talk about the Dow?

I’ve been holding back, but yes, what I was thinking. You know how once you’ve been around the industry, you can just kind of tell whether someone’s legit or whether they’re “M&A’in on the buy side” by their demeanor and the content of what they’re saying?

Blue horseshoe loves anacot steel.

Yep, in fact just the other day, me and my friend had a discussion about the Dow. It went, “Hey, remember that thing where people used to talk about the Dow?”

He’s a fraud! This is not BSD material

Studying With

I was going to say, with the economy as it is now, why would you dare leave or even try to find a new job? I’m just struggling to keep the sh—-ty position I have now because its scary out there. But then again, being a son of a diplomat must provide you with a huge network or opportunities.

I would love to have your derivatives trading job. I left my last job trading at the NYMEX to get my MBA, and now I barely have a job that I get paid less than what I got in my mid 20’s.

And, my short Sep 16/17 Facebook call spread is going against me as we speak, so more money down the drain.

easy frankz, easy

Haha. No BSD here, just need help with a ‘wee lil’ problem I have… and f—ck Mr. Dow Jones, should be trading well below 13,000 level come September.

^ getting squeezed out.

I got 4 weeks left till expiry. Also short a call spread on John Deere (JD), and that thing is also squeezing my balls in a vice grip. DE trades with the market, but FB doesn’t. So I thought at least one of the positions would be profitable. Time will tell. I’m also going on the wagon for three days.

If it makes you feel any better, September has been historically the worst month for stocks (not October).

Thanks FT, it does make me feel better. Because this equity rally is based on nothing. The volume sucks. The revenues suck. The algorithms suck. The job market sucks. The 2yr at 26 bps is a joke. I’m shutting down my platform now. The week is over. I’m going to cry until milk comes out of my eyes. Cry milk time.
