Does a product specialist position qualify as a relevant work experience?

I was wondering if being a product specialist within an asset management firm was a qualifying work experience as part of the 4-year relevant work experience requested to be a CFA Charterholder.

Just make something up that makes it sound like you’re doing security analysis. Title is not as important as tasks.

I met a guy doing sales of morningstar terminals who had his charter. They seem to accept anything.
