Hi All, As per the CFA calculator policy we can use Texas Instruments BA II Plus (inclouding professional) Hewlett Packard 12C (including the platinum) Is there any one which should be preferred or can I ask my kid to pick one amongst these 2? Many Thanks for sharing thoughts. Regards.

You’re probably an engineering type of person, so you might indeed prefer the HP12c. I saw in this other thread you’ve been in IT for 8 years. The HP12c is very reliable.
I prefer the Texas one…
Texas Instruments BA II Plus is the best
The price difference is a big enough determinant for me (about $40 for the TI vs. more than $100 for the HP).
