Just a general discussion, asking how much did you cover till now for the exam?
Well, I am studying in order, starting by ethics…
I finished the ethics section and the Quant… and i just started with the Econ
Just wanna ask if I am studying too fast or normal?

i skipped ethics because i dont have the official books yet, just schweser, so i started with quants and i will be finishing econ next weekend…it really depends on when u started..if u started 3 months ago ur prob in bad shape…if u started 1 month ago ur prob doin fine
I’m half-way through equities and fixed income investments. I am studying my favorite subject first. I need to step it up. I am studying 3 hours a day except for Sunday.
Keep on studying! Who cares where the others are? You can never study enough…I am trying to think of how I should study better. i.e. write notes, notecards, study sessions with friends.

I started about early May and am now half way through FRA (I have already covered ethics)…I was going at a pretty quick pace up until FRA, which I’ve had to slow down a bit to cover more carefully as it’s a lot of new material for me. I feel I am on a pretty good pace to finish the curriculum about a month or so before the test.
I just started a week back.Done with Micro Economics.Anyone following CFA institiute material?

From CFA material. I studied Ethics.. That’s what everybody is recommending..
My recommendation would be.
1) Top Priority would be using CFA Material from now,it will be helpful for L2 & L3.
2) Other option would be use Kaplan but atleast refer CFA material for topics not covered in Kaplan and Q&A at the end of the chapter of CFA Material - Atleast you will be exposed to CFA Material , you wont find it difficult in L2 & L3.

I started with ethics. Maybe I got scared a little by all the talk about how it can make/break the exam, but I wanted to cover all that material so it’s in there, and now I start every day by doing 3-4 ethics questions. I kinda flew through the material though, so I plan to come back to it after I’ve read the rest.
Oh and I’m starting quant tonight. Haven’t looked at it much yet, but I don’t imagine it’ll take too long having just finished a degree in finance/economics/math.

I have finished the first two study session and i plan to catch up in september because i won’t be working any more. i used schweser because cfai materials will arrive this friday.
