Calculators - Texas BA plus or professional

Hi

I am pretty sure this question would have been asked at some point of time and I am just starting my CFA prep. I need to buy the TI calculator but i am not sure if I should go for plus or professional?

Any advice or it dosent matter which one you use? I have read the reviews and Pro has better casing and some extra features.

Thanks in advance

Other than aesthetic features (shiny silver, rubber feet), the Professional offers no real benefit over the Plus.

I bought 2 pros. If it’s not a BA-II pro, you just don’t know!

I like the modified IRR on the pro, I’d get it for that.

I’m old school, but I just like the feel of the button travel on the non-pro BA2+ – the pro feels too stiff. But that’s a personal esthetic matter. The MIRR on the PRo can be used to calculate total return on a bond in many cases, and the Net Future Value function also has some uses. But I’m not sure that’s worth the extra scratch.
