In a previous post I described how I have been grossly front loading my allocated study time just based on my career and am now around 170 Hours. I recently took a Schweser Mock Exam from 2011 and scored a 77%. Obviously December is still a long time from July 11th – Are the Schweser Mock’s that much easier than the real exam?
A little easier, so good job on the mock. I’d take it as a good sign.
Also, the curriculum has changed some since 2011. I’m sure you know that.
I assumed so. I managed to get my hands on a lot of previous Mock Exams though and wanted to supplement the QBank. I’m saving the 2014 Schweser Mocks and 2014 Elan Mocks for November.
real exam’s approach is far different from schweser’s. so don’t feel too good about this. I’d say doing CFAI EOC at least 3 times and then do only 1 shweser mock after completing 3 most recent CFAI mocks.
