Is it okay to use two years old Schweser book? I am planning to take Level 1 exam in June 2015. Can I use 2013 Schweser book? Is there anyone who used the books of previous year?
I would say no.
The curriculum is updated every year from what i know. Use the updated version so as not to have any regrets later!
They changed the entire Fixed Income secton which is no 14 percent of the exam.

I believe you also get access to the electronic copy of the curriculum with enrollment in the exam. If you are trying to avoid spending the $150 (or however much it costs) for the curriculum, then that’s a way to do it.
