December Level 1 Review Strategies

Howdy all -

As we come down the final stretch I thought we could share review strategies and either adopt or critique each other accordingly to sort of crowd-source a solid review plan. This is my current plan:

Approximately 8-weeks to exam day

  • Using Elan’s “11th Hour Guide”, reviewing topics in order of weight, i.e. FRA first, Quant second, etc.
  • After reading (for example) FRA reading #22, I do ALL EOC questions, then drill about 20 more on Kaplan
  • Repeat until score is above 75%
  • Continue this until I am completely through FRA, then repeat the process on Quant, etc.
  • Once I am through every topic, I take a mock exam and see where I flopped the hardest
  • Then, I repeat the process in the beginning on the failed sections
  • Take another mock exam, rinse and repeat

Anyone doing something similar to this or have a better plan?

^ Almost exact same plan.

Good strategy, is that after going through the entire curriculum (Schweser/Elan?)

Sounds good.

I would go through all topics in decreasing order of weights.

Other than that, sounds like a plan.
