How much must I pay if I want to take the CFA on June now?

Hi everybody! I paid 1,240 ( 440 + $ 800) in August in order to take the exam in December. But now I’m working a lot, I’m completely overwhelmed by my job and I think the best option would be to pospone my exam to June.

Can anybody tell me exactly how much will I need to pay ir order to change my sit from December to June? Thank you very much,

These two links should be of help:

http://www.cfainstitute.org/about/governance/policies/Pages/level_i_withdrawal_option.aspx

So it depends when you sign up for your L1 exam next.

You need to pay the exam registration fee again, but will no need to pay the program enrollment fee again.

What is the downside to writing it in December? It’s a sunk cost arleady…

^ Some folks are fragile.

It won’t hurt to take it in December. Like Dwheats said, it’s a sunk cost. CFAI won’t let you “undo” your registration from the December test. I suppose it’s like a really expensive practice exam.

Thanks to all! I was told I had the option to postpone the exam by paying US$ 200 extra, but, after reading the CFA web site, evidently it’s a sunk cost and then I will have to sit in December.
