An industry that’s . . . well . . . growing. Usually rapidly.

An industry which is currently in its growth phase (in its beginnings). This phase is characterized by high growth rates and low competition, negative cash flows due to big investments, no dividend distribution, etc.
I’m sure the books talk about this.
