CFA Topic Tests and Mock Exams

Hi everbody,

Can anybody value the Topic Tests on CFAs Website, which you can find in your Candidate Resources. Im doing them all day long, but questions almost never change. Is this a serious preparation for the exam? I doubt…

Theres slight deviations in them, if you redo the test immediately you will notice a few questions are new but a lot of them are repeats. Its as if a 30 question topic test has a pool of 40 questions it could choose from, and it randomly gives you 30 from the pool.

I find that I do much better on CFAI and Schweser EOC questions, as well as Schweser mocks, than I do on topic tests because the questions are different in general. So I’m planning on rotating between topic tests so I don’t immediately remember the answers.
