Problem during exam

I had accidentally written the first 3 letters of my surname in the first name section . I erased it and made the correction and wrote my first name correctly but the faint outline of my surname was still a little visible despite trying to erase as much as I could . I did darken the correction as much as I could. This happened during morning session . Will there be a problem in assessment ?

I wouldn’t think so. In the end of the day, your CFAI ID is on the sheet as well, and they don’t seem too strict about how your name is written. I asked if I needed first and middle name on that part, since both are on my test ticket, and the proctor literally said it doesn’t matter.

It doesn’t matter, it is likely there just in case they aren’t able to pick up your CFAI ID. I know from previous standardized exams (not CFA Exam) that only what you fill within the bubble matters for the most part unless there are issues.
