Prep Suggestions ,Tips to get started & suggestions on Prep providers in -Los Angeles

Hello All,

I’m a new member of this forum and planning to appear for CFA Level -1 (2017)

I know its way to early for me to bring this up,but I just wanted to start planning since its been really long I’ve gotten into the whole study zone.

Do you guys have any recommendations on prep providers specially In person classroom sessions based in Los Angeles.

Also I’ll be very grateful if you’ll can share any tips & ideas on prepping ?

Is Irvine close enough to LA for you?

I’ll be teaching Levels I and II there on Saturday mornings, as part of a capable team of CFA instructors at UCI.

I’d highly, highly recommend looking at the self-study programs Wiley has to offer. I used them for my L1 prep and was really happy with their lecture videos. I had purchased their Silver package and am eagerly upgrading to their Platinum package for L2.

Ruchita,

I have taken USC CFA classes previously. The accounting class teacher was superb. Quant teacher was good too. Other teachers - especially econ was so-so.
