Its been 3 days since the exam got over, but I am still thinking abt it and the results I am actually browsing the forums much much more than I ever browsed even during my preparations..

I just cant seem to come out of the CFA mode and this wait seems so difficult to handle !!

yah, desperately waiting for the results. Even thought of that day is so scary!!

Seriously…!!!! I wish we got the results sooner than waiting for 2 long months!!!!!

At least you guys get it earlier. Us L3 people have to wait another few weeks more

Hope. It is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength, and greatest weakness.

After the results come out, I’m going to start persuading people who passed to start L3 right away. I dunno, for shits and giggles. I’ll be like “remember how it felt to be unsure of whether or not you passed? Remember how it felt to think that you were borderline? Remember feeling all that fear and anxiety? How would you like to feel really confident in knowing that you’ll pass for sure? Then afterwards, you can show up on AF and tell everyone how easy it was. Start now and you will feel great!”

Im a big fan of starting early vs. cramming at the end. it makes more sense logically. start earlier and there’s just that much more time for review. people often say ‘well you’ll forget everything’ . no not really. Im not going to stop studying when I’m done the books lol…. I’ll start as soon as possible. starting earlier only has postiive effects…

I started early, yes I felt good about my preparation till the exam day.. Some part of me tells me I did extremely well, some part of me tells me I did not do upto what I could have :S

So ended up in the same plate, dont know how I did feeling :) its awful.. I will start early again, the only question would be for which level :)

Best regards,

Sooraj.

I just want to start calling myself a L3 candidate.

We all want to do that, don’t we? Unfortunately, only few of us will see off the L2 AF forum and get promoted to L3.

I am actually getting really frustrated. I too, am coming on this forum way too much.

I came out the exam feeling like I made it my bitch and now the more I read this forum, the more I second guess myself and am now feeling like it’s possible I failed. Everybody asking about exam questions makes me second guess myself, even though I don’t remember or try to remember what I answered…

48 days ‘til results day is unbearable… If I remember from last year, the first week after the exam is the hardest and then after that you kind of forget about it and get on with your life until end July… I really hope the same applies this year!

Seriuosly though this is killing me, was it a cash flow or a synthetic cdo?

janza44's picture

Don’t synthetics require credit default swaps?

mills87's picture

Does anyone know the date that results will be released?

F*&( so it was a cash flow? Damnit I failed this test, time to start prepping for Level II round 4 :(

nvestn's picture

Usually July 26 or 27, mills87.

cfa_student29's picture

last yr it was on July 26th

WayneINTJ's picture

Sounds good. 3 or 4 days after my first aid course, I can register for L3.

Thank you!

I, for one, am enjoying this period of unknown.

If pass => level 3.

If fail => level 2.

Either way it’s going to be another half year of hell.

johnnyBuz's picture

I just want to find out already that I failed. I put in about 250 hours and felt pretty unprepared.

It could go either way (much like I felt after Level I) but I’m leaning towards a fail.

very true.

The only joy you get for passing L2 is another door of pain in L3

Whatever the outcome is, you’re gonna have to start hitting the books again this fall so might as well enjoy the free time.
