CFA Level 2 2014 MPS score derived !!!

Did an extensive analysis on most of the L II 2014 reported scores in the forum. The narrowest possible range of the MPS score is is 68 to 76 out of 120 (ie, 204 to 228 out of 360). In percentage terms it is 56.7% to 63.3%.

Among most of the reported scores the following two scores A and B reported in AF gives the narrowest possible MPS range.

manuag’s min possible score is 55 and max possible score is 76 out of 120. He has a pass result.

Now take the minimum possible scores of the failed result (msc2488) which is 68. Now that the pass candidate’s (manuag) score should be more than that of the failed candidate, in this case it is 76. This is the MPS range which comes to 68 - 76 out of 120. In % terms it is 56.7% to 63.3%

Will post if I am able to further narrow the MPS range.

Anyone who require the excel file that provides the min and max possible scores automatically can send a mail to l scorpiomanoj73@gmail.com as there is no provision to upload any file in AF.

Thanks Scorpiomanoj- very insightful post. I’ll keep this in mind when I take Level II in June. Did you get your retabulaction back by any chance?
