CFA Level 2 eligibility

I have passed the CFA L1 June 2014 exam. I am 22 years old and currently pursuing a 5 year Bachelors- Masters dual degree in engg. I am in my final year. I have heard that to register for CFA level 2 you need an undergrad degree. Is it true?

The problem is that i will receive both my degrees at the end of my masters (July 2015). Can I still register without the undergrad degree.

I doubt you will be able to register.

It is possible that if the university can issue a letter saying that they would grant you a bachelors given the credits you have already done (if that is the case) they will let you write L2.

You need your bachelor’s degree to register for the Level II exam.

^ I didn’t technically have mine when I wrote L2.

BUT I had the university write a letter stating that I had completed the equivalent credits to a bachelors degree and graduation was pending (finished credits in december and graduation was in may).

IF you have 4 years relevant work experience you can register for Level II if you do not have your degree.

You can…
