Is Employee Compensation the most boring subject? Please say yes

I’m not trying to bitch here. In fact I’ve been enjoying the L2 material thus far (quant, equity, corp, even intercorporate investments). But employee compensation reading 18 makes me wanna blow my brains out…ok not that bad but you get my drift. I just hope this is the dryest material. Thoughts?

Yes.

Unless it’s “no”.

(Some of the corporate finance junk . . . yuck!)

YES i found it very boring and just horrible. Don’t want to look at it again, but i think I must to review the stuff before I start taking mock exams.

Wow just got done with Elan’s video for pension obligations (a four hour behemoth). The material itself is very dry but I gotta give props to Basit once again. He did a great job. A lot to learn but def manageable. Can you tell I like Elan? although I have a some trouble with customer serivce with them lately unfortunately. go pats

Hardest/most boring topics at Level II IMHO (no specific order):

Pensions.

Credit analysis models

Swaps

First portfolio management reading (second half)

@bachatero: Elan’s videos for most of the above are 4+ hours, but fantastic instruction! Didn’t need to read anything after those videos
