I am posting this here as I might not be the only one involved.
There is a printing mistake in my version of the CFA Level II books. Some readings on Alternative Investment have been replaced by Equity Valuation. This is the case for at least the first one.
CFAI is aware of this issue and when I called they offered to send me a new Package free of charge.
Yes happened to me as well. I just opened a ticket and they sent me a new volumn 5
they also said they are aware of the problem, and it only happened to a few people. Furthermore, it’s really not that big of a deal since it essentially replaced 1 reading chapter of alt with 1 of equity and then it continues as normal. Worst case scenario you read that one chapter via ebook online. Was pleased with how CFAI quickly responded and sent it off.
Glad to hear they replace the volume. Mine were correct but I would have been annoyed if they told me to just use the E-book.
