Revise L1 before starting L2?

Hi,

I have just signed up to give L2 another go, I passed L1 2 years ago and have the L2 hard copy syllabus from 2014. Would you suggest revising L1 material before I attempt to start L2 or can I just hit L2 straight away, and everything I need to know will be in the latest syllabus.

I tried L2 once before, but was just as clueless on this as before. There are some topics where I didn’t cover them in L1 at all (Corporate Finance), so not sure whether i need to go back to the L1 for this.

The way i see time is not on your side so dont bother with L1. There are bridges in L2 in equity, fixed income and derivatives that build up on L1 but you can always check back L1 on a on-demand basis.

Waste of time reviewing L1

Thanks guys, i’ll just go straight ahead with L2.
