Econ: how to crash it?

Hi there!

Coming back to forum with 100-th message and wish to finally crash lvl 2.

I realized that Econ was the weakest area in my performance in all 3 attempts. I decided to start with it. So far, I plan to read all CFAI readings, do finquiz tests. I allocated for the whole Econ only 2 weeks (better to say to 2 weekends). Although there are only 3 readings the volume is huge enough, how would you tackle with it in such narrow period of time?

Thanks in advance!

I’ve written a few articles on Level II Economics, and have a few more planned (likely available in the Spring). Those may help; you’ll find the former here: http://www.financialexamhelp123.com/level-ii-economics/, and the latter here: http://www.financialexamhelp123.com/level-ii-proposed-articles/.

(Full disclosure: as of 4/25/16 there is a subscription fee to view the articles on my website. If you want to see some sample articles that will give you an idea of what I do, look here: http://www.financialexamhelp123.com/sample-articles/.)

Hi,

Contrary to popular belief, I found econ to be interesting and scoring.

Though I failed in band 10 but I scored 70+ here with two sets at the offing. True, I read eco during my b school and I loved it. Hence, I have a background.

Coming to exam tips: I read from Schweser but will advise against it as you might have weakness. Read from the material, take time to understand and develop the concepts related to growth theories, parity, interconnection among everything. Once you have your concepts in place try solving multiple sets. You should be through.
