Do I need to revise CFA level 1?

It will be almost 2 and half years since my CFA 1 exam in June 2017. Do I need to revise level 1 stuff in order to study for level 2?

Not necessarily!

It depends on your use of finance in the interim and understanding of the very basic concepts but I would say most likely not.

You will naturally review any of the more complex material by way of studying for Level II however if you do not have a basic understanding of some of the FR&A material or quantitative material than those sections may be worth reviewing. Similarly, for equity and fixed income. If things like CAPM and duration, maturity, etc. are not immediately familiar than you may want to brush up on those.

Definitely don’t spend too much time on it as I think level II generally does a good job of reintroducing the material.

Hope this helps!

No.

Everything you need to know for level 2 is in the level 2 curriculum.

Nah

Revise or revisit?
