What is the rule for this? I have been looking into this from CFA website but couldnt find anything. Let say if we registered level 1 in 2003, are we eligible for 3 years experience?.Thanks for your help.
Regardless of when you started the program, you had to be a regular member by July 1, 2007 to be able to use the membership requirements that were in effect when you originally registered for level 1. Otherwise the 48 months requirements set it.

if you registered for the june 2005 exam or earlier you are only required to submit 3 years work experience
I think it doesn’t matter when you registered for L1.
If you haven’t passed L3 last June, you are under the new rules.
