Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone here has experience with the discount brokerages in Canada, specifically Questrade, Virtual Brokers and Interactive Brokers? Looking for details on customer service and dividend payment efficiency, as I already understand the fee structures.
Globe and Mail rated VB #1 but I’ve read conflicting things online about their horrible customer service.
Any insight is appreciated!
I’ve been using Questrade for the last couple years for mine, and my mom’s, RRSPs. I haven’t had any issues with customer service or anything. I had one time that I sold a position from the app on my phone and it sold it twice, leaving me short the position. I emailed them to let them know and they apologized and corrected the trade without a problem.
+1 for Questrade. Nice trading interface too. Solid. Free ETF purchases are about as good as it gets too.
