I think it would be helpful and interesting if we could throw in some ideas and perspectives on what we think are the most important news revelations throughout the day and how it may impact trading in the short-term. Whether it’s OPEC’s production caps, Wells Fargo’s issues, the new Google phone, etc. What do you think is driving the market today?

I like your idea. However, for those who are interested in market moving news, they are probably to busy to want to report it with regularity on here. Maybe an occasional topic can be discussed. Meanwhile, here is where I look for my list of potential market interruptions.

I also set up my facebook page as a news reel. I unsubscribed to most of my “friends” and “liked” Bloomberg, Reuters, BBC, Breaking News, and anything else I could find. That “breaking news” one is really good.
Anyway, I knew about KK immediately after it happened
