I’ll be in NY for the next couple days for work, and I’m looking for a fairly inexpensive place to get drunk with some friendly people.
My hotel is at Wall st and Water st, so I’d prefer something around there, but I’ll take any recommendations since I have a couple nights to kill.

Define cheap. Before Rangers games, I hit up the Molly Wee on 30th and 8th. $6 drafts and the Guinness pour is pretty good. Since hockey season is over, you shouldn’t have a problem finding a seat at the bar.
If you want the absolute cheapest place possible, go to Rudy’s on 45th and 9th. They have $7 pitchers and free hot dogs.

How’d it go? That’s my kind of chill place.
Suspenders went well. It was a bartender’s bday, so I got a couple free shots out of it. Suprisingly good steak, too - a bit overcooked, but what can you really expect from a bar.
I ended up chatting up one of the guys there, and we ended up at a strip club that only had easter-european chicks. Good times
