Have you talked to your old boss? If the position is filled, can they at least help you out with networking?
Were you in LA or Florida? I can’t remember. Are you targeting the same geography or open to relo? I am job searching too, let me know what you are targeting and I will keep an eye open for you. Good luck dude.

Wow man, that’s awesome you’re getting back into the swing of things. Like Bromion said, definitely try to talk to your old boss, I’m sure he’d be glad to sit down and talk with you. If they don’t have anything available, I’m sure he might be able to point you in the direction of some people.
