“Stephen R. Covey, author of “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” as well as three other books that have all sold more than a million copies, has died. He was 79.”

Apparently he died from a bike accident injury? Wow, pretty impressive that he kept active at that age.

But anyway, yeah… too bad. I liked his books. He seemed like a good guy.

Is  “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” useful/easily applicable?

^ Meh.  It’s ok.  Nothing Earth shattering.

I thought it was a pretty solid book, but you can grasp the basic concepts without reading the whole thing. It helped me realize that too much of my job involved things that were urgent, which allowed little time to work on projects that actually matter for the long-term business. I am much better balanced now between the occasional fire drill and more intellectually stimulating stuff.

“7 Habits” is not the only thing he did! It is just the most famous thing.

Home Alone was also not the only thing Macaulay Culkin did.  It is just the most famous thing.
