For me, it’s one part Frank’s rationale, combined with the low correlations between both IQ and happiness and IQ and success. So ultimately, undergoing such a procedure would likely leave me as a bitter, unsuccessful nerd with a small endownment and an unhappy life trying to justify it by telling everyone how “intelligent” I am. Crap that sounded like a self-description.
There are plenty of things I wish I had more of in life, more hair, more money, more freedom, more youth, etc. But in all honesty, I know I’m not the smartest guy around, I’m probably about average on this forum (I’d like to think slightly above average, but that’s probably more delusion than anything), but strangely enough, my level of intelligence is one of the few things in my life I’m content with. I really don’t think adding more intelligence would equate to a better standard of living in any way, and I’m not so dogmatic that I necesarily view intelligence as an end in and of itself. I think a great degree of cynicism comes with the turf and I already dislike how cynical I am as it is.

Granted….even doubling the endowment size has little benefit unless you can consistently put yourself in a position to use it…and endowment size won’t increase your “rate”. Whereas for women, “size” can….

Totally depends on where the competencies are on the IQ. If I could be like the guy in the movie Limitless then it may be worth it. Also, it may be that I would be itelligent enough to finally solve the riddle of male enhancement…which would obviously make me rich and win me the Nobel.
Problem is, itelligence is not necesarily measured by IQ but d!ck size is certainly measured by T.M.I.:

….there aren’t too many shops here in Canada and definitely not value related (i can think of maybe 3 and they’re hard to get in forme)……i keep my eye out though….
ER is great experience and its a good step before you hit the field……
Wouldn’t do it. I am already in the high 90th percentile and I look at things on the margin. I would be losing more inches than gaining percentage points.
