MS Word: automation with table of contents

I’m making a table of contents in Word where it lists the item, follows with a variable number of periods, and ends with a page number that is aligned to the right. For example 1. Introduction…2 2. Discussion of Topic 1…8 3. Graphs and Charts for Topic 2…12 4. Conclusions…14 5. Sources…25 How do I make it so the number of periods between the topic and the page number self-adjust?

Are you using Word’s menu (References > Table of Contents in Word 2010) or doing this by hand?

well i was was gonna do it by hand but I could use that feature i guess.
