Insider Trading now unprosecutable if your obtain info going through a middle man lol - what a travesty - in my judgements just another example of lawyers getting tangled up in their own legalistic underware and failing to see substance when it smacks them in the face! It will be interesting to see how this develops and I am thinking perhaps that some kind of “should have known” concept evolves in response.
Anyway this really declaws the regulators and might herald the return of “good times” for those inclined to enrich themselves by trading on inside info.
