Any suggestions to why the trolling has been reduced ?

I myself acted as a troll,along with some others whose name should not be mentioned ,but it makes me wonder what has been done so that the number of troll posts decreased dramatically,I myself believe the ban threats did not help,I dont know what was the reason though
