American racial politics tend to be a can of worms though and are better left untouced. I pity any non-white minority that had the misfortune of being raised in that prejduiced shithole and it is nigh on impossible to find so much racial baggage in more mature countries like Britain etc where non-white minorities are more mainstream.

Well, instead of taking a leaf out of the faux-news style of deflection perhaps you can discuss the issue at hand instead of claiming racism > rape which not the issue.
No one doubts that there is racism and prejduice in Britain, however it is known that with the exception of perhaps British Pakistanis all of Britains minorities feel more integrated and share the common identity of being ‘British’. In contrast there are a number of American minorities who were born and raised in the USA but still feel alienated from American society and feel they are still treated as ‘kooky foreigners’. They also overwhelmingly tend to be ‘non-white’. You can deny and and deflect but discussing this and finding a way to integrate these people into mainstream society will ultimately make them more productive which will be beneficial to the USA.
We haven’t even gotten into the can of worms like the subtle racism that is actually hilariously transparent in a lot of American popular media.
The rest of what you were touching is a more nuanced topic that is impossible to ‘debate’ with a chest beating, jingoisitc person hell-bent on cheerleading his ‘team’, however it is worth pointing out that the runaway leader in reported , unreported and completed rapes per capita is the United States (excluding war torn reigons like the DRC) so that is another issue that the United States can tackle in order to progress as a nation.
Every nation has their own positive and negative aspects and there is no reason to get so defensive and retreat into the ‘us vs them’ mentality which most Americans tend to display especially considering that a somewhat broad global culture is conceivable within our lifetime.
I’ve had a couple friends of various ethnicities that worked in London and then New York. I’ve been told the U.S. is comparably better from a racism standpoint, but that’s anecdotal.

If the guy is charismatic, confident, fun to be around, has a great sense of humor, ambitious, has a backbone and is assertive, then he scores higher on the attractiveness scale.

There are literally millions of immigrants in the US who have escaped religious, racial and gender persecution around the world. Actually, that is what the country was founded on. And if you actually knew any immigrants in the US, you might appreciate that. It’s not perfect here, but it’s still better than virtually every other country in the world.
Dating market is more efficient than the stock market, IMO. In the dating market, most of the relevant qualities can be observed immediately or ascertained relatively quickly. Not so in the stock market. The distribution of valuations is higher in the dating market though during most of recent history and especially today.
Most women are actually far more superficial on looks than men would like to admit although looks is not the all important criteria it is for men.
^ I would even argue that the dating market is much more efficient today than it was half a century ago. A lot more. In the past, people weren’t dating around. When men finished school (high school or higher education), the next step in life was getting married with someone in your town (most likely at your local church). You hooked up with what was available. Today, with women being an active participant in the labor force (more opportunities to meet people), birth control (more opportunities for sex), being single in your 30s no longer being frowned upon and new technology (facetime, FB, tinder, dating sites, Skype, airplanes), the landscape has changed. People can now hook up with people on the other side of the world instead of settling with someone in your town.
I’ve worked in numerous European and Asian countries (sadly including India) and I have to say that of all the places I’ve been London is the most multi-cultural and racially tolerant city I’ve been to. I feel very sorry for those who decide not to come to UK for the fear of discrimination - it’s such a free, liberating and no-nonsense country IMO.
As for India, I think Indians are the more racist and discriminatory in general than anyone I’ve ever seen. I feel very sorry for Gandhi who right now must be sobbing in his grave for the mess they’ve made of the country. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve met some really amazing, bright and sociable folks there (both men and women) but in general, the state of affairs sickened me like hell.
My company put me up in a rather posh area of mumbai and my neighbours would give me weird experessions for washing my own car and for not having domestic help - I mean why does an unmarried guy who is at work most of the time really need any of that? They’d even frown at me for saying hello to the guy who came every morning to pickup trash - how does the fact that the man is a garbage collector make him so bad that I can’t even ask how he’s doing. Unbelievable.
Friendly advice to Indians: just be nice to each other, learn to take care of your own mess yourself and please think before you speak (especially if you sit in a call centre…only if I had a penny for all the BS answers I got to my straightforward questions).

I am well aware of its merits in terms of the opportunity it provides for immigrants which is second to none ( for now) and I am more than aware than almost anyone can rise to the top in America based on hard work. This has nothing to do with the racial issue that was brought up and contrary to your assumption I have first hand information of immigrant minorities who have faced prejduice including an American of Brazilian descent who grew up in upstate New York and where the term ‘paki’ was so common and accepted he learnt to just shrug it off and tell them the appropriate slur for a Hispanic American is ‘wetback’ , South Asians who lived through the ‘Dotbusters’ gang in New Jersey where random attacks sent a couple of people into coma and the worst was after 9/11 when Sikh families started packing up and leaving to Canada because there were instances where their children were physically harassed and most people were in such a patriotic fervour they failed to realize Sikh turban is not the same as Taliban turban.
You can sweep this under the rug but ultimately it will affect America as a nation which is already starting to struggle to retain the skilled immigrants it attracts.

Technology has made both markets much more efficient. Even as recently as the 1970s the stock market was a joke. I would argue it didn’t start to get really efficient until the late 1990s because of the widespread availability of the internet (ironically during the tech bubble which felt inefficient). It’s still relatively inefficient but the inefficiencies usually close quickly now and they are no longer structural in nature.
I don’t care but that’s actually pretty funny since my passport is American so I have to agree with you there. Our ‘country’ is indeed ‘rapey’ if the conclusions based on campus assault research are true and I have to agree that in a number of issues including racial politics we are the armpit of the first world. Addressing and improving them is better than simply engaging in pointless navel gazing.
I agree , Indians are among the most classist and elitist people second only to the Arabs. If you think that is bad , hop on a flight to Dubai or Doha and have a look at how the Arabs treat the people building those cities with their blood (literally). It is apalling.
