Rebuild the Left!

Cliff notes:

Socialist femanist ultra-liberals sad about their economic prospects. Want others to bail them out with high-paying worthless minimum wage jobs while providing low-income housing.

Hey she was my econ prof. Unfortunately dropped the class as her accent was too thick and I couldn’t understand…also had enough econ credits to graduate (I think I ended up taking ethics or bizlaw instead)

Whenever I hear about this school-to-prison Pipeline and other nonsense dribble from these super liberal types it makes me cringe. Don’t get me wrong a lot of the ideas are good and arguments are valid but I went to a high school that was made up ~60% or more of low income minorities and I didn’t see a pipeline leading to jail. I did see a lot of stupid kids who decided to join gangs and ditch class whose parents were not involved but it was not the school’s fault- its the parents. Its always convenient to blame the system rather than taking responsibility.

“The winter of Occupy sparked a debate in my own organization, Socialist Alternative.”

“Here in Seattle, I filed in a race for the Washington State House as a socialist “Occupy” candidate.”

“The Democratic Party establishment has virtual monopoly control over Seattle politics, as it does in most urban centers.”

This person taught you economics? Was this an actual university, or some kind of accredited commune?

On Fridays, we braided each others hair, and instead of final exams we had drum circles. Peer reviews were especially difficult, because you could only say positive things.

Ummm…-1 to this.

I’d like to hear one good idea or argument.

^ its valid to say that people cant live on minimum wage. Some people are not cut out for college and some people are not as high functioning as others. It doesnt mean they are lazy- they could have a disability. At the end of the day somebody has to work the menial jobs in society. I am not saying that they should get paid for doing nothing but I agree that the current minimum wage in most areas of this country is too low. We would see less people on welfare and food stamps and other gov’t programs if the minimum wage was higher.

Don’t get me started on how welfare is a hand out to Walmart and others… Make the big companies pay their own way.

lol

On standardized testing results, my HS ranked in the bottom 2.5% in the state. Myself and my friends did alright.

^Clearly skipped grammar class though, correct?

At least my sentence contained a subject.

FTFY

^if I read it with a country twang it sounds just as redneck as it actually was
