Panama #1

I’m not saying it’s because of any particular reason. Actually no, I am. It’s because of the drugs.

Edit: Here is the full list. Take that Canada!

Interesting that Mexico and Guatemala make the top 10 for countries with thriving populations and folks from there rank 1st and 3rd for undocumented immigrant groups in the US. Also interesting that folks in the US don’t “thrive” in any category, but we have the largest immigrant population in the world.

lol welp. initially i was planning the philippines, but panama sounds too good to be true. stats dont lie amirite.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title of the thread.

“Reach down between my legs, and…ease the seat back…”

In percentage term, in the UAE, 80% of the population are guest workers from 202 nationality. The highest in the world. Path to citizenship is very tight though. We have the most diverse society in the world.

I was talking number, not percent of population.

Yup. This is why I started by (in % term). In numbers of course the US is the highest.

What exactly are you guys arguing about? US has the most immigrants because it is the biggest country where people would actually live if given a choice of all countries. UAE has a ton of immigrants because they have migrant workers - either people there to make a quick buck or slaves for construction projects.

I wasn’t aware that we were arguing, just clarifying our statements.

I am surprised at little “financial” difference between Americas and former soviet union

Discussing rather than arguing. There was no disagreement. On the “slaves for construction projects”, people don’t travel and stay in another country to become slaves. They’re citizens of another sovereign country. Yes some workers are mistreated, but labor courts protect their legal rights. The biggest notable abuse is the one of organizations like Wal-Mart. They locked in workers of illegal status. The workers cant file a complaint because of their status. The same is with farms in California.

^ I think Gap, Inc. is a much larger offender than Wal-Mart.

I still highly doubt that the plight of Walmart or Gap workers in the US is comparable to that of migrant construction workers in the UAE. I’m not saying that as a condemnation, by the way. How can we condemn the UAE for offering opportunities that are better than those in the migrants’ home countries?

^ are you talking about another arabic country? Reports mix Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE. We’re not the same. We’re different countries you know.

I was referring to the folks making clothes for Gap and their other brands.

Different countries? What is this crazy talk?

Can you imagine? crazy right?

panama still bangin apparently. how do the panamanians rank in the hotness scale?
