yea man. party is actually 33% black. 1 works for deloittes other works for citibank. but yea, the other 33% are major ballers with a ton of vices, one with women, the other with gambling. so it should be an interesting weekend. plus im meeting with sum okc chick ucla newly grad. rofl right?

Nice, that’s where I stayed too.

^ Venetian/Palazzo is great. Cant decide if I like it or Wynn/Encore more. Tough call.

i go with whichever of the two is cheaper.

I will be staying at Circus Circus smiley

Quick thought for those that are statistically inclined AND that have a large bank roll, say twenty to thirty large. Caesars offers double deck blackjack with very liberal rules including surrender in their high stakes room. The casino’s edge is 0.15%. If you play perfectly for four hours at three hundred a hand, your expected loss is $180, assuming 100 hands an hour. At this level of play, you will have your room and dining, great steak house there; New York strip is the best, comp’ed and they probably will help you out at Pure, especially if a group of you are gambling. In my opinion, it is the only way to go.

One word of caution, do not count cards if you like the Vegas experience, you will be banned if you are any good at it. A one two spread is the most you’ll get away with in the long run. That will at least bring you to a zero expected loss on Caesars game and you’ll enjoy the comps for a long time.

Friendly advise from someone that has had security “help” him vacate his suite in the early hours of the morning. Much more fun to let variance decide how much your bottles are going to cost. Who knows, if you play your cards right, you just might be paid to party. Almost a better feeling nailing the CFO of major vegas property. Yeah, they go to the clubs too. The best part is when you let them know you have been coming to their property for years and haven’t lost a penny on average. Sorry for the long post. Got carried away. Vegas rocks. Enjoy yourselves.

^ Ive done a little bit of statistical analysis on this in my day. Sure, $180 may be the expected loss, but what is the Value at Risk on this scenario at the 95% level?

Plus, im not sure that you are correct about the comps and the expected loss. the casino guys wern’t born yesterday. They arent going to give that many comps for an expected win of just $180.

There should be an AF vegas meet up/conference.

The only time I’ve been to Vegas was on a company trip. They put us up in the Wynn.

I loved everything about it–except the bed. The bed was hard as a rock. Don’t know if that was on purpose or not.
