If we expand the question to defensive ends, then the award goes to Reggie White. (JJ Watt is honorable mention–he hasn’t played long enough to earn a greatest-of-all-time award.)
White isn’t in the same league as Jones. Good? No question. Exceptional? Of course. But no Deacon Jones.
