To be fair Global Warming is good for Canada.

This isn’t completely true. If all it meant was an increase in mean temperatures, then sure. But climate change could have other impacts, drought is a big risk in the prarie provinces for example. We have had some good growing seasons temperature wise the last couple years, but terrible for moisture.

If sea level rise then it could be a problem for Atlantic Canada.

What’s the ideal mean temperature that would be most beneficial for Canada? Would be quite a coincidence if that ideal was the current mean. Dumb question though. Can’t even be measured with much accuracy.

^ True. I’m not advocating trying to control the temperature. Just stating that global warming doesn’t automatically mean improvements to cold weather countries. There won’t be palm trees lining the Calgary Stampede. It’s more likely that we’d look more like West Texas than some tropical oasis. More pests would move in. More fire risk. There are puts and takes.
