Is Musk just bailing out his solar company that he thinks will be unviable due to future cheapness of solar panels? He said a bunch of bullshit about synergies, but seems like he is making stuff up.
I have no vested interest in this but I’d love to see the shareholders vote against it just to see the reaction of their messiah Musk.

Musk is the either a genius or the world’s best carnival barker. I am leaning toward the latter. His cousin is the founder of Solar City? He is on the board? Solar City has some debt coming due? This whole thing stinks.

if solar city goes down, Musk’s credibility takes a major hit which would in turn deflate tesla’s valuation and its ability to acheive its quotas and growth targets. gotta keep that bubble inflated. he can bear the 3 months of people calling him unethical or whatever.
