Misc math topic

Hi…prob quite simple question. It there a terminology for:

square of the sums / sum of squares?..

No.

These two are different things though.

(1+1)^2 is not equal to 1^2+1^2

Wait. Are you asking for a terminology for their ratio?

That’s how I read it.

I’m not aware of a specific term for this ratio.

It is the “summed squares to sum of squares ratio”.

yep… the term of this ratio.

Thanks for your help anyway.

It’s called the Sheboygan Ratio I believe.

I believe it is known as the Pokhim Fraction following unpublished manuscripts by Pokhim (2016) which build upon earlier work by Pythagoras (~500BC) who introduced the concept of a rational number expressed as a quotient of two integers.

You say that as if all the other numbers are irrational. :-p
