Medical conditions are often a “snapshot” of goings on in a society and a period of time. This couldn’t be more true with one of the newest orthopaedic hand and upper extremity conditions physicians have today coined “ Selfie Elbow.”

I feel like I am under contributing to this 5 hour average… Anyway, please use selfie stick. Avoid selfie elbow - this is a PSA.
This stat also made me speechless:
" And each one is expected to take over 25,000 [selfies] in their lifetime"
Glad I picked up all that apple stock when I did.
average? wow. i would say maybe 5%-10% of those i hang out with take selfies.
That seems exceedingly high. I wonder if they are just assuming that all time spent on Snapchat = selfies.

Geez, how are they ever going to afford a Rose Gold Airplane if they are just taking selfies all the time.
Kardashian started out “at the bottom” now she is a professional who can afford lots of rose gold stuff.
I would like to see the gender breakdown in that stat.
