Boston University's School of Management's MS in Investment Management (MSIM)
Many professionals consider advancing their financial skills through graduate education or the CFA® Program. We invite you to take a closer look at Boston University School of Management’s MS in Investment Management (MSIM) - the first graduate program in the United States to be named a CFA® Program partner.
As you know, the CFA® Program has become even more challenging over the years and requires more than simple test preparation. Boston University School of Management’s MSIM focuses on advanced investment techniques and incorporates a majority of the CFA Candidate Body of KnowledgeTM. Take a look at some of the other important benefits:
- Complete the degree efficiently. In only 17 months, the program provides a highly effective way to train for the advanced CFA exams while earning a Master’s degree. Beginning in January, our 30-person cohorts meet just one evening a week and every other Saturday.
- Take advantage of the convenience. Classes are held at our Kenmore Square location, across from our own T stop or, if you prefer, with parking beneath our building. And because it’s an executive-style program, all required books, meals, parking, and other miscellaneous costs are included in your tuition. We take care of the details, so you can focus on expanding your knowledge of investment theory and practice.
- Gain real-world experience. Senior investment professionals on our faculty and advisory board designed the curriculum, and courses are integrated with our live equity portfolio, offering students the opportunity to implement stock research and practice management of actual funds.
- Advance your career. Skills learned in the program are an important stepping stone to advancement. These skills, combined with the relationships built both in the cohort and through the MSIM alumni network, allow our graduates to enjoy jobs as research analysts, portfolio managers, financial advisors, and relationship officers.
