401k loan to an IRA

That’s why I didn’t bother to look up the exact numbers.

Basically–if you have a 401k, don’t put money into a traditional IRA. It’s not deductible. Just put it into 401k instead. Or a Roth IRA, if you’re eligible.

I have never contributed to a traditional IRA, and I probably never will.

We should start a debate, discussing the merits/demerits of the CFP versus the CFA.

I’m pretty sure after that last thread we can all agree a financial advisor with his CFP and an MBA from non-top 20 school is better than a portfolio manager with a CFA from Harvard…at estate planning.
