I knew a guy in college who was a sparring opponent for the olympic wrestling team when they trained. The lacross players would bet on who could last more than 6 seconds against him without tapping out because that was the current record. That record stood until I graduated, I also used to watch him annihilate guys at the MMA gym next to where I boxed.

Look dude. Wrestling is totally different than Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. Wrestlers don’t strap on 4oz gloves and hit each other in a cage. Its not even a fair fight. What - a wrestler can take you down on a mat? Who cares. Get him in a triangle choke and finish it. Wrestlers mainly know take downs and pinning the other person down which is a bit useless if you’re trying to tap the person out, But, why do you care black swan? Just go run one of your 100 mi cross country events and your sub 18 min 3 miles and be proud of yourself.

You’re assuming all he knows how to do is wrestle and wrestle within the rules of normal competition.
