Fundamental analysis vs Technical analysis

You can not separate the technicals from the fundamentals.

Fundamental, hard work. Technical, hard hard work. Unless you have someone to tell you what’s going on, be prepared to do some serious soul searching.

I found this to be one of the most challenging books to read that I’ve come across yet, the man is brilliant

At the same time - in Michael Lewis’ “Panic” they interview a former employee and he says that at the time he was with the Quantum fund, they had over $20b of AUM, mostly family money - over time you’d need a pretty spectacular track record to accomplish that.

my technical version is very easy. buy when it goes down 1std away in terms of yearly percentage gain/loss. sell when i need liquidity.

You need to diversify yo bonds, n***a.

I can find a story on the internet about three guys who won $100m in the Powerball, too. Doesn’t mean that the average Joe who buys a ticket will do it.

The book itself is an easy read. It’s the message the author is trying to convey that eludes people i think. You really have to experience it to appreciate the book.
