Hilariously true

I’ve heard a few people use the term “toxic masculinity” recently but all in a slightly different context.

To be fair, one of those was a friend of the wifes (33, single, NYC native, 5 dates a week crowd, has a dating mental checklist to work through) who has previously said that when men use her name at work eg “thanks for your time, Sally” its mysoginistic. jesus wept.

I had a friend who constantly went on tirades about guys calling her sweetie or hun, I 100% get why it’s not OK at work but in day to day things I get called the same thing by older women at coffee shops and whatnot and manage to get through my life without hating them for trying to be nice. She just responds with “it’s different” which I’m sure it is in her mind.

one of the things I miss the most about home is being able to call women doll face or hen.

or old people auld ain

Such microagressions are an outrage. You should Facebook Live those old bats and demand that the coffee shop establish a safe space for you.

Instead of “mansplaining”, just say “wrong” mid-sentence, like my guy Donald.
