I wish I saw this thread earlier. I was in NYC late afternoon yesterday and had 4 hours to spare. I was near 8th avenue and 41/42nd.

To the OP, check out Club Getaway in Connecticut. I was there during the weekend. There’s an event every US holiday weekend, including Memorial weekend.
